Sunshine on Tokyo - Pineapple & Yuzu


Our Sunshine Series explores bright, juicy tropical fruits which pair perfectly with hot peppers. Based on our original sauce, Sunshine on Leith, the sunshine series starts with a base of pineapple, mango and lime. We then remix with a new fruit to create something completely different.

For this iteration, we're heading to Tokyo to explore the intense world of Asian citrus fruits. Yuzu, while uncommon to many westerners, is an absolute staple with a unique flavour often described as mandarin orange crossed with lemon or grapefruit.

Paired with pineapple for a little sweetness, this zingy sauce is absolutely incredible on tacos, fish, pizza and probably even ice cream. Plus any Japanese foods where you'd normally use a ponzu sauce.

Made in a kitchen which also handles celery, gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, milk, molluscs, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans and nuts. Although great care has been taken, some trace amounts of the aforementioned allergens may be present.
